HOEDSPRUIT TOWN & SURROUNDS

The Greater Zandspruit Estates is no further than 2km away from Hoedspruit Town. Hoedspruit is a bustling tourism town,  with a variety of shops and retailers, a wide choice of top restaurants and borders the world renowned Greater Kruger Park Reserve, incorporating the Associated Private Nature Reserves, where the 5star bush lodges in Southern Africa can be found.

The Orpen- and Phalaborwa gates of the National Kruger Park Game Reserve are 50km and 88km's travelling away from Hoedspruit, respectively.

Hoedspruit lies at foot of the Northern Drakensberg mountains, which forms the Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd largest living canyon in the world. Day trips, adventure outings and panoramic tours are conducted daily from Hoedspruit by various Tourist service providers. There are various wild animal rehabilitation centres surrounding Hoedspruit, where scheduled daily tours are offered. Interactive experiences can be found in the surrounding Cultural Villages, Community and Outreach Projects around Hoedspruit, with opportunities for volunteer and intern programs, for the enthusiasts and those who wish to remain longer.
